The “House of Mirrors” installation continues the experiment of perception and reflection using mirrors. The triangular structure of mirrors is based on the shape of a house of cards, with pixelated heart and spade patterns applied to each surface. These images are based on familiar playing card symbols, but are reproduced digitally, blurring the line between reality and virtuality.

The central concepts of the work are mirrors, games, probability and uncertainty. By combining an unstable structure with a reflective medium, visitors experience the fragmentation and superimposition of their image and surroundings within the space. A mirror does not reflect the whole body. Only by passing through three mirrors can one see their entire figure. This illustrates the idea that ‘self-perception is always incomplete and probabilistic’.

In the exhibition space, artificial and natural light mix, and the reflections change depending on the time of day and weather conditions. These changes mean that the work is constantly creating new scenes, functioning as a temporary theatre. The House of Mirrors disrupts the relationship between viewer and viewed, and the boundary between reality and reproduction. It also reconstructs the structure of perception amid visual uncertainty.
